It’s constantly changing and unpredictable. When you think it will be sunny, it rains. When you’re expecting a storm, the skies clear. It can swell up suddenly without warning and overwhelm you. It can be so calm you barely notice it, although it’s always there. It doesn’t have a fixed length, it’s not linear. It doesn’t follow any rules.
