We’ve always relied on the generosity of the many people and funders who have supported our work. Our first few projects, back when we started out in the 1990s, were funded through car boot sales and sponsored bike rides.
Over the years, many trusts and foundations have given us grants to support the projects we’ve made, and to help us grow the company so that we can get better at what we do.
We’re now in the incredibly lucky position of receiving regular funding from Arts Council England, but this covers less than half of the costs of our current work.
This means that every donation we receive from anywhere else makes a real difference to what we do, allowing us to create more projects, with more people, across the country - in schools, in shops, in theatres and galleries, and online.
