A Conversation On Touch
What does it mean to touch and be touched?
Many of our earliest discoveries about the world around us come from touching and being touched. We learn to communicate, form tangible connections with others, and develop a sense of our place in the universe through our tactile, physical experience of it. As we grow, we learn what and whom we are allowed to touch, and we begin to live within new and invisible boundaries.
Join us for a curated conversation exploring the theme of touch, featuring leading scientists, researchers and artists. The discussion will delve in to the politics, aesthetics, science and cultural meaning of touch. This event is hosted by the Wellcome Trust and is part of Men & Girls Dance.
