The first time

It's Friday 8th April and tonight our Folkestone company of 14 perform for an audience for the first time. In just under two weeks through intense play and work and just being together they've created a marvellous thing.

A show, a happening, a living, breathing event. Men & Girls Dance isn't just a precise choreography of people, it has moments of stillness and pause, of rules and of no rules, of dance and of not dance. It's a piece about people, and because there are so many people on that stage, in that space, there is the potential for so much to happen. Each person is unique. Each performance is unique.
